HOT OFF THE PRESS: THE BURNING PAGE COVER REVEAL

Following Monday's announcement that we have acquired TWO further novels in Genevieve Cogman's fabulous Invisible Library series - we are thrilled to unveil the cover for THE BURNING PAGE! *fanfare*

Book three in the series, this follows THE INVISIBLE LIBRARY and THE MASKED CITY, and will be gracing UK bookshops on the 15th December this year. I know, I know that's a long time to wait. Especially when you have a cover as beautiful as this one, which you just want to gaze at longingly, dreaming of holding it in your hands and turning that first, crisp (and not at all charred) page to discover the story of...ahem. Sorry. Got distracted there. What I meant to say is: LOOK AT THAT COVER! We're so thrilled with Neil Lang's design work here - the parchment-like texturing, the singed edges, the copper foil. It should appeal to bibliophiles everywhere.

Praise for The Invisible Library series

‘I absolutely loved this . . . flavoured with truly unique mythology and a dash of the eldritch. Such clever, creepy, elaborate worldbuilding’
N. K. Jemisin

‘Richly realised settings and wicked sense of humour. Also, Irene is a great heroine: fiery, resourceful and no one’s fool, she has a wonderfully droll sense of humour – much like the novel itself’
Guardian

‘Written in a similar vein to Deborah Harkness’s All Souls trilogy . . . Contemporary meets fairy-take in this novel’
Big Issue

‘Surrender to the sheer volume of fun that appears on every page . . . thoroughly entertaining’
Starburst Magazine

‘One of those rare fantasies that seems to arrive fully formed within the first few pages of the book . . . Irene herself is a fantastic central character, a capable, intelligent female lead who seems to have one of the best, if dangerous, jobs in fiction’
Den of Geek

‘This witty and spirited adventure sets up a potential gold mine of lore for the writer to plunder in future sequels . . . a fun and original page-turner’
