COVER REVEAL: THE DEAD ROAD

Armageddon is coming.

I'm not talking about the news, though watching live updates on Twitter can make it feel that way at times. I'm talking about the third and final book in Seth Patrick's acclaimed Reviver trilogy!

Opening with The Reviver and continuing in Lost Souls (click the links to read free extracts!) this genre-bending series has been described as CSI  meets The Sixth Sense. The trilogy takes place in our world, but with a chilling twist: certain people have the ability to wake the recently deceased for testimony that is accepted in courts worldwide. The use of these so-called Revivers has long been a routine part of police investigation. But things are changing . . . something vast and dangerous is hiding in the dark, just waiting to wreak havoc on our world.

The Dead Road is where it all comes to an end - maybe literally. If you haven't read the first two books in the series, you have plenty of time to do so before the finale publishes in paperback and ebook on 21st September this year. But it can also be read as a standalone! So if you want to plunge straight into the apocalypse, you can certainly read The Dead Road on its own. Seth Patrick is also the author of the tie-in novel for hit TV series The Returned - something else to check out if you want to get in the mood for The Dead Road.

For the cover, beautifully designed in-house by Matt Garrett, we wanted something simple. Something bold and dark and menacing - but not too creepy, as despite the title this novel is more supernatural-police-procedural-thriller than actual horror. (Told you it was genre-bending.) We're really happy with the end result:

The Beast is coming. Be ready.

That was the warning. But how can you ever be ready for the end of the world? And with global infrastructure collapsing, and panic spreading like wildfire, who stands a chance of preventing it? As Jonah and what remains of his team of Revivers struggle to push back the darkness, it could be up to the dead to save the living . . .
